June 2009 is the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York, the most significant event in LGBT rights in the Western World.

A lot has changed here and around the world in the last 40 years for LGBT people. Rights Activist, Peter Tatchell spoke to Under the Rainbow about what has changed and what still needs to be done in the fight for equality.

On the 25th of June 2009, The Cellar awoke to the sad news that charismatic front man of legendary Californian Garage band The Seeds, Sky Sunlight Saxon, had sadly passed away.

Two days later, Ben Hughes invited the Editor of Shindig Magazine, Jon Mojo Mills, onto The Cellar Tapes to share his thoughts on the passing of a Garage icon.

Family And Friends On New Horizons

Linden Wilson spoke to Mike George about Family and Friends, a support group for people who have a loved one battling against alcohol or drug dependency.

Since this interview was broadcast, Stockport Drug Action team have told us that people who found out about the group through Pure have joined and as a result people are receiving treatment for their addictions.
