The People Like Us Stockport (PLUS) Exercise Group arranges regular walks for the local LGBT community. From walks around Stockport town centre, most parks around the borough, to walks around towns as far away as Cumbria and West Yorkshire.
Under the Rainbow caught up with them at their last walk, around the Roman Lakes in Marple. A rainy evening did not affect the beautiful views.

Here is another chance to hear Ben Hughes talking to Gary Burger, lead singer of legendary sixties band the Monks, first aired on July 11th 2009.
The Monks were five ex-American GIs based out in Germany during the mid sixties. They made one album in 1966 entitled Black Monk Time, which has developed into one of the biggest cult albums from the decade.
