Connect - Manchester's New Trans Social Group

Connect is a new social group for people aged 18 to 35 who identify as trans. That’s anyone who feels that their gender identity does not correspond to the sex assigned to them at birth.

Oct 2014 - Let Loose Ladies

The Let Loose Ladies are a Stockport-based drag cabaret duo.

Next month Jackie and Alexa are bringing their performance to Heaton Moor, alongside an evening meal.

It’s a charity fundraiser, in aid of the Albert Kennedy Trust. They’re an organisation who support young LGBT people, who find themselves homeless, or who are living in a hostile environment.

Under the Rainbow has been speaking to Jackie.

Alex Chow live at Barista Café Bar

Roots & Fusion recorded manchester based acoustic guitarist Alex Chow at Barista Café Bar, on the Little Underbank Stairs, in Stockport.

Twenty-something Alex discovered the art of fingerstyle playing thanks to YouTube, and is developing his own intricate and intense style.
