Socialist, political commentator and author Owen Jones visited his childhood home of Stockport at the weekend.

The 29-year-old has a weekly column in The Independent, and his first book ‘Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class’, was published three years ago.

He told Under the Rainbow that he is working on a new book, due to be released later this year.
