Grant Shapps Defends Controversial Bingo Tweet

Conservative Party Chairman defended his controversial tweet on the budget when he spoke to Pure’s Simon Kelsey on a trip to Cheadle Hulme.

The tweet featured a mock Bingo ad which read:
“Cutting The Bingo Tax & Beer Duty – To Help Hardworking People Do More Of The Things They Enjoy”

Roughley’s Bikers deliver Christmas gifts to the Together Trust

Hundreds of bikers – many in Christmas fancy dress – descended on the Together Trust in Cheadle to deliver toys and gifts to the children.

Roughley’s Bikers have been supporting the charity, which works with disabled children and their families, for more than a decade.
