It’s taking place in Manchester at the end of next week, and it’s going to be their tenth year.

Nov 2014 - Safe to Sing

On Monday evening the Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus will be boarding the Metrolink trams in the city centre.

Safe To Sing is their latest project. It aims to show support and solidarity to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community, as well as victims of hate crimes.

They’ll be going back and forth along the city centre tram routes, encouraging the public to sing along with them.

Kath Fox from the choir spoke to Under the Rainbow.

Jimmy McGovern's Common - Joint Enterprise Interview
