Neil Cousin in session for Roots & Fusion

Acoustic singer / folk songwriter Neil Cousin travelled up from his home in The Fens to record a session for Roots & Fusion.

He also had a gig at The Acoustic Lounge in Poynton, where he tamed a rowdy but friendly crowd.

His most recent album, The Dreams Of Animals is darkly folk tinged masterpiece.

The session was recorded by the every capable Aaron Hixon as always.

He also reports back from the hugely successful celebrations of Bramhall Cricket Club’s 125th anniversary, which included a T20 game in aid of The Christie hospital and leukaemia research. One of the celebrities involved in the game was former professional footballer and charity fundraiser Geoff Thomas, who explains why this cause and the game of Cricket is close to his heart.
