Inspirational parents fundraise for Stepping Hill baby bereavement suite

Suzann Wagster and her partner Oliver Harrison sadly lost their baby son Declan when Suzann was 20 weeks pregnant.

They are now raising funds for SANDS (the stillbirth and neonatal death charity) and for the Sandalwood baby bereavement suite at Stepping Hill Hospital.

They told Jane Lomas their story.

Village Manchester Football Club - 20th Anniversary Tournament

VMFC is a gay, bisexual and inclusive men’s team.

They have been playing in a number of local and LGBT leagues since 1996.

To celebrate the group’s anniversary, they are hosting an international LGBT football tournament in August.

Empty Yard Experiment live at Pure

All the way from Dubai, for the second time, Empty Yard Experiment visited us at Sonic Bandwagon. This time, instead of catching a local gig – the nearest was in North Wales – they played in the studio. Captured by Aaron Hixon, Bojan (guitar & vocals), Mehdi (guitar) and Josh (cajon & backing vocals) delivered three songs from their stunning ‘Kallisti’ album in a totally different acoustic format as well as having a quick chat with Mike about their journey and their plans.

It’s taking place in Manchester this weekend, and it’s going to be their tenth year.

Comedian Kerry Leigh is helping organise the event, and has been speaking to Under the Rainbow about what’s going on.

On Sunday, Kerry is running a workshop on Laughter Yoga.
