The Wednesdays are a youth group for people aged 13 to 19, who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans.

They’ve been meeting weekly in the town centre for three years, and this week they’ve been celebrating the anniversary of the group’s creation.

Under the Rainbow went along to speak with the young people and youth workers at the project.

Oct 2015 - Twilight People: Stories of Faith and Gender

Twilight People is a project that aims to document transgender and non-gender-conforming people, and the faith and spirituality that they have in their lives.

They plan to collect people’s stories, then use them to produce an exhibition next year.

Lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people still face homophobia and transphobia in their lives, on an all too regular basis.

It Does Get Better is a single from The L Project, which aims to improve awareness of bullying, give hope to those suffering, and raise money to help combat it.

Sofia, who worked on the single, spoke to Under the Rainbow. She described how it all began.
