Birmingham based player, maker and advocator of Cigar Box Guitars, Chickenbone John, played a session in the tunnels of Stockport’s Air Raid Shelters for Roots & Fusion.
As well as some slide blues, he also played a couple of well chosen cover versions – Tom Waits’ Down In The Hole and Warren Zevon’s Werewolves Of London.
Rick then had a chat with him about his passion for the Cigar Box Guitar and about the annual Boxstock Festival, which this year is at the Band On The Wall in September.
